Great for teaching kids to read
★★★★★ I was looking for some interactive stories to help teach my five year old niece to read. This one is really nice. Its bright colorful illustrations are perfect for an Ipad and the interactive animated parts help keep her interested. The story is fun and has a nice moral message. I really like the choice of a male and female narrator. The price is much less than a paper book and is not laying around for us to pick up. I highly recommend The Blue Jackal for new readers. - RTL1228

The day was already half over and approaching dusk. The Jackal realized that he was out of the Jungle and at the town. His stomach grumbled and he did not think about the danger to his life.
The Jackal's body soon turned blue. He was scared and confused when he surfaced from the tub. The animals accepted the Blue Jackal to be a Savior and to be God's Messenger. The King Lion bowed his head down and said, 'Your majesty, we accept you as our new king.'
The animals would hunt food and bring it to the Wicked Jackal. He took all the food and he would not give it to the other animals.
